Bhimasena Power Helps Flood Victims in Batang

PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) donated aid to a number of villages affected by the flood. The donation activity for flood victims is a form of the company's commitment to the social conditions of the community.
 
In addition to the affected village hall (Denasri Kulon Village, Klidang Wetan Village, Klidang Lor Village, Ponowareng Village and Roban Hamlet, Kedungsegog Village), donations were also handed over to the PMI Headquarters of Batang Regency to be distributed to other areas that still needed assistance. "We provide this donation to residents affected by floods, especially residents who are neighbors and adjacent to the Batang CFPP 2 x 1,000 MW project," said Wasistho Adjinugroho, Director of External Relations at PT BPI.
 
Furthermore, it was explained, that besides being handed over directly to the villages affected by the flood, donations were also handed over to the Batang PMI Headquarters, to be distributed to other residents who really needed the assistance. According to Kusnadi, Head of Batang Regency PMI Headquarters, this assistance will be distributed to areas that still need assistance.
 
Meanwhile, donations were also given directly to Denasri Kulon Village, where some of the area was still submerged in floods until Monday. The assistance was received by Anik Wahyuningsih, the Village Head of Denasri Kulon, in the local village office which was used as a temporary refuge and at the same time as a public kitchen.
 
"We are grateful for the care and assistance from PT BPI who took the time and provided direct assistance to the village. Even though we are far from the project location, we still get attention from the Batang CFPP, "Anik Wahyuningsih said, after receiving assistance.
