Supporting National Health Insurance, Batang Power Plant Received Appreciation from Batang Regency Government
Bhimasena Power, Batang Power Plant — PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) received an award from the Batang Regency Health Office (Dinkes) for the company’s active contribution through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in supporting the National Health Insurance (JKN) participant registration under the Synergy Program for JKN Participant Recruitment and Reactivation. The award was presented during the 61st National Health Day (HKN) commemoration at the Batang Health Office courtyard on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Batang Deputy Regent Suyono expressed his appreciation for the company’s continued support to the community in the health sector through its CSR initiatives.
“We would like to thank Bhimasena Power Indonesia for its consistent support for health-related initiatives, including health insurance assistance. This is a real example of synergy between the government and the private sector,” said Suyono.
Meanwhile, the Acting Head of the Batang Health Office, Ida Susilaksmi, also conveyed her appreciation for the CSR contributions from several companies, including BPI, which have helped reduce the financial burden of achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
“CSR programs are one of the key strategies in supporting the realization of UHC. Several companies, including PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, have contributed through CSR programs in the health sector, even though the portion is still relatively small compared to the overall need. This collaborative effort is expected to accelerate the achievement of UHC in Batang Regency.
In addition, we continue to encourage all factory workers to be covered by health insurance as part of their employers’ obligations, ensuring that health protection can be enjoyed by all,” said Ida Susilaksmi.
Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, General Manager of Stakeholder Relations at PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, stated that through its CSR health programs, the company is committed to supporting the realization of UHC 2026 in Batang Regency. This commitment includes facilitating JKN enrollment for 175 underprivileged residents from Ujungnegoro, Karanggeneng, Ponowareng, and West Roban Hamlet of Kedungsegog Village, all verified by the village government as low-income residents who have not received similar government assistance.
“Today, we are also supporting a mass circumcision event organized by the Batang Health Office for 30 children. This activity continues the similar support we previously provided in the Roban area. We hope our contribution will bring benefits to the people of Batang Regency,” said Aryamir H. Sulasmoro.
This year’s National Health Day (HKN) carried the theme “Healthy Generation, Great Future” and was attended by Batang Deputy Regent Suyono, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and health sector partners. In addition to the award ceremony, the event also featured activities such as blood donation, mass circumcision, joint exercise, and social service. BPI’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to improving public health and social welfare in Batang Regency through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, particularly in the fields of health and community well-being.
