Batang Power Plant Again Hands Over Scholarship Program to Outstanding Students

Plant - PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) handed over scholarship programs
to three outstanding students and witnessed by the Chair of TP. PKK Faelasufa
M. Faiz Kurniawan, and the ranks of Sub-District Leadership Coordination Forum
(Forkopimcam) Kandeman Batang Regency on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the
Ujungnegoro Village Office.
In his remarks, BPI Chief
Operating Officer Naofumi Yasuda said that this scholarship program is in line
with the company's mission to provide benefits to the community, especially in
the field of education.
"We believe that education
is the key to improving the quality of life and creating a brighter future for
the younger generation, and this scholarship program is part of the company's
commitment to support the improvement of the quality of education and community
empowerment," said Naofumi Yasuda.

Ambassador of Batang Regency Faelasufa M. Faiz Kurniawan expressed her
appreciation for this scholarship program and hoped that BPI could facilitate
the best youth of Batang, especially the villages around Batang Power Plant to
receive higher education. Today, all parties see this hope as a reality because
BPI is not only committed to running the company's operations, but also in
assuming social responsibility.
"This program is a follow-up
to the direction of the Governor of Central Java, in 2022. He conveyed a
message to the Board of Directors of BPI to facilitate the best youth of
Batang, especially from the villages around the Batang Power Plant, to be able
to receive higher education. We consider BPI not only present as a business
entity but also as part of the big family of Batang Regency. Today is a history
that proves that collaboration between the private sector, government and
society is the main key to progress," said Faelasufa M. Faiz Kurniawan.
The recipients of the third batch
of BPI scholarships, Bayu Pamungkas, a resident of Ujungnegoro who is a student
majoring in electrical engineering at Jenderal Sudirman University, Fitrotul
Azizah, a resident of Ujungnegoro, a student majoring in Business
Administration at Diponegoro University, and Equelyn Zuliani, a student
majoring in Public Administration at Jenderal Sudirman University who is also a
resident of Ponowareng Village, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity
given and promised to make good use of this scholarship.
"We hope to be an agent of
positive change for families, villages, and the wider community," they
