Liga 1 Bhimasena PSSI Batang Regency Ready to Kick Off
Bhimasena Power, Batang Power Plant – PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI), the owner of Batang Power Plant, has officially become the main sponsor of the Liga 1 PSSI Batang Regency competition, which now carries the name Liga 1 “Bhimasena” PSSI Batang Regency. This sponsorship reflects the company’s commitment to supporting sports development, particularly football, as well as nurturing young talent in the region.
A socialization meeting for the implementation of the competition was held at Kiyana Hotel, Batang, and proceeded smoothly, resulting in a mutual agreement among all participants regarding the technical readiness and execution of the league, which will be launched in the near future.
The event was attended by the management of PSSI Batang Regency, representatives of the main sponsor PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, the League Operator, the Competition Division, the Supervision and Referee Committee (Komwas), and the Disciplinary Committee (Komdis). A total of 16 clubs out of 20 participating clubs were present, each represented by two management officials. The remaining four clubs had submitted confirmations and were deemed to have understood and agreed to the outcomes of the socialization.
Previously known as Liga Utama, the competition has now been officially renamed Liga 1 “Bhimasena” PSSI Batang Regency following the sponsorship support from PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia.
General Manager of Stakeholder Relations of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, through External Relations Manager Bagus Dona Doni P. stated that the company’s support for Bhimasena Liga 1 is part of its commitment to fostering sports development and empowering the younger generation in Batang Regency.
“PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia fully supports the organization of Bhimasena Liga 1 as a platform for developing local football that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, and togetherness. This support reflects our commitment to grow and contribute alongside the people of Batang Regency, while also encouraging the emergence of high-performing local football talents. We hope this competition will run smoothly and safely, and provide tangible benefits for the sports sector, MSMEs, and the Batang community,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of PSSI Batang Regency, H. Juki JS, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the support provided by PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia.
“We extend our sincere thanks and highest appreciation to PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia for its support and trust. With a main sponsor in place, Liga 1 PSSI Batang Regency can be organized in a more structured and professional manner.
