Ahead of Eid al-Adha, Batang Power Plant Distributes 31 Qurbani Animals to 25 Locations
Bhimasena Power Indonesia, Batang Power Plant – Ahead of the Eid al-Adha 1447 H celebration, PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI), the operator of Batang Power Plant, distributed 31 qurbani animals consisting of cows and goats to communities across 25 locations surrounding the plant’s operational area. The distribution was carried out through government institutions, villages, mosques, prayer rooms, Islamic boarding schools, and community groups in Batang Regency.
This annual qurbani program is part of BPI’s commitment to strengthening harmonious relationships with local communities while sharing the spirit of Eid al-Adha. Through this initiative, the company hopes that the benefits of the qurbani can be widely enjoyed, particularly by families in need.
Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, General Manager of Stakeholder Relations at PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, stated that Eid al-Adha is an important occasion to foster compassion, togetherness, and the spirit of sharing between the company and surrounding communities.
“The distribution of qurbani animals is an expression of our gratitude and a reflection of our commitment to continuously contribute and bring benefits to the communities around Batang Power Plant. We hope these qurbani animals will help meet the needs of local residents and further strengthen the positive relationships that have been built over the years,” he said.
A total of 25 recipient locations across areas surrounding Batang Power Plant received qurbani animals, which were subsequently distributed to residents by local qurbani committees. This mechanism ensures that the distribution of qurbani meat is conducted in an orderly, fair, and needs-based manner within each community.
Rusbad, Head of Kedungsegog Village, representing beneficiaries from the fishermen community in Roban Barat Hamlet, expressed appreciation for BPI’s consistency in implementing the qurbani program every year. According to him, the assistance not only provides economic benefits but also demonstrates the company’s genuine concern for the surrounding communities.
Meanwhile, Teguh Tarmudjo, Chairman of the All-Indonesia Fishermen’s Association (HNSI Batang), stated, “We would like to express our gratitude to PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia -Batang Power Plant for the sacrificial animals donated to the fishing community. This assistance is deeply meaningful and serves as a tangible demonstration of the company’s concern for residents living near its operational area. We hope that the cooperation and good relations that have been established can continue to be strengthened for the progress and welfare of the people of Batang, especially the fishermen.”
