Collaboration Between the Manpower Office and Batang Power Plant Strengthens Local Human Resource Development and Employment

Plant — PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI), as the owner and operator of
the Batang Power Plant, together with the Batang Regency Manpower Office
(Disnaker), officially signed a Cooperation Agreement to strengthen synergy in
improving the quality of human resources and developing employment in Batang
Regency on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, at the Batang Regency Manpower Office.
The Head of the Batang Regency
Manpower Office, Suprapto, stated that this cooperation is a strategic step to
encourage capacity building and community self-reliance through the employment
sector. He emphasized that the Manpower Office has various training, job
placement, and workforce development programs that can be integrated with BPI’s
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
“Through this collaboration, we
hope public access to job opportunities will become increasingly open, while
also encouraging the growth of new businesses around the Batang Power Plant’s
operational area,” he said. He added that the Manpower Office is committed to
supporting the implementation of the agreement to ensure measurable and
sustainable impacts.
The Head of the Government
Administration Division of Batang Regency, Agung Widodo, welcomed the signing
of the agreement and stressed the importance of concrete follow-up actions.
According to him, the cooperation aligns with the policy direction and expectations
of the Batang Regency Government in strengthening collaboration between the
business sector and the local government.
“This cooperation is designed for
a five-year period so that it can be utilized optimally and provide tangible
contributions to regional development, particularly in the employment sector,”
he stated.
BPI’s General Manager of
Stakeholder Relations, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, through External Relations Manager
Bagus Dona Doni, expressed appreciation for the support of the Batang Regency
Government in realizing this cooperation. He emphasized that the agreement is
part of BPI’s ongoing commitment as the owner of the Batang Power Plant to
support the social and economic development of surrounding communities through
CSR programs.
“BPI shares a vision with the
Batang Regency Manpower Office in improving the quality of local human
resources. Through this cooperation, we encourage the collaborative
implementation of workforce competency enhancement programs to deliver broad
and sustainable benefits,” he explained.
This agreement marks the third
cooperation between BPI and the local government and will be expanded in the
future to involve other Regional Government Organizations (OPD).
