Committed to Support Community Economic Development and Growth BPI Signs a MoU with the Batang Regency Government and Grants Production Equipment for Making Bricks and Paving Made from FABA

BATANG—PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) through its corporate social responsibility program is always committed to supporting regional development in various fields to advance regional development and increase community economic growth. To realize this commitment, BPI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Batang Regency Government for the bilateral collaboration in management and utilization of Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA) from Batang Power Plant 2 x 1,000 MW, at the Batang Regency Hall, Wednesday (4/4).
President Director of BPI, Ryuta Sato said that the signing of the MoU on the management and utilization of FABA which had become registered non-B3 waste derives from the precious advice by the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo that BPI would synergize with the Batang Regency Government for the utilization of FABA.
This MoU will continue to prioritize the principles of environmentally, comply the technical standards and requirements in the management and utilization of FABA, and be able to make the best contribution to both parties and the community of Batang Regency.
"We express our gratitude and appreciation to the Batang Regency Government and all parties who have supported this collaborative program for the management and utilization of FABA." Ryuta Sato said, after delivering his remarks at the MoU signing ceremony between BPI and the Batang Regency Government, Wednesday (4/1).
Also in this ceremony, BPI handed over to the Batang Regency Government a set of production equipment for manufacturing bricks and pavings made from FABA.
Meanwhile, Acting Regent of Batang Regency, Lani Dwi Rejeki expressed her gratitude to BPI for giving trust to local governments to participate in the management and utilization of FABA. To realize this collaboration, the Batang Regency Government will appoint a Regional-Owned Company (Perumda) Aneka Usaha.
"Hopefully this will be the start of a good collaborative cooperation in early 2023. The Batang Regency Government through Perumda Aneka Usaha can maximize this business opportunity, in order to increase regional income," said Lani Dwi Rejeki, at the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BPI and Batang Regency Government, Tuesday (4/1).
