Bhimasena Lentera Sosial: Welcoming the Eid al-Adha Celebration, Batang Power Plant Distributes Dozens of Sacrificial Animals


Bhimasena Power – Batang Power Plant - Welcoming Eid al-Adha 1446H, PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) once again showed its commitment and concern to the community in Batang Regency by handing over 10 cows and 20 goats that had been certified and declared fit for consumption by the Marine Fisheries and Livestock Agency of Batang Regency to villages around the Batang Regency Power Plant. The distribution of sacrificial animals took place on June 4-5, 2025 which was attended by the Village Head, village officials and representatives from BPI.

GM Stakeholder Relations of BPI Aryamir H. Sulasmoro stated that since 2013 the company has consistently implemented a series of activities to welcome the celebration of Eid al-Adha as a form of concern for the community around the company and a form of gratitude for the smooth operation of the Batang Power Plant. This year, BPI took the initiative to interpret the momentum of Eid al-Adha by handing over sacrificial animals on behalf of employees as a form of appreciation for the dedication, commitment and performance of employees.

"Through the Bhimasena Lentera Sosial program, we as part of the people of Batang Regency are committed to caring for the social conditions of the community by providing benefits and positive impacts. Sacrificial animals were given to residents in 14 villages, Jami Mosque, Fishermen Association (HNSI) Batang, Islamic Boarding School, and other stakeholders," said Aryamir H. Sulasmoro.

The Secretary of Ponowareng Village, Dremo Laksono, expressed his gratitude for BPI's concern and contribution in supporting the implementation of qurbani worship in the village. 

"We would like to thank PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia for the sacrificial animals that have been handed over today. Hopefully this good step will bring blessings to the company and further strengthen the synergy between BPI, the village government, and the entire Ponowareng community," said Dremo Laksono.

Gratitude also came from the Head of Kedungsegog Village, Rusbad who also received sacrificial animal assistance from BPI.

"I, as the Head of Kedungsegog Village, would like to express my deepest gratitude for the provision of sacrificial animals from BPI. This assistance means a lot to our community.  Hopefully BPI will always be blessed, overflowing with sustenance, and the wider benefits for the community," said Rusbad.

This activity not only aims to support religious activities, but also to strengthen the relationship and friendship between the company and the surrounding community and is expected to help ease the burden on the community and become a symbol of togetherness between the company and the surrounding residents that can create a harmonious and prosperous life.
