Plant – PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI), as the owner of the 2 x 1,000

assistance was symbolically handed over to the Batang Regency Government
through the Batang Regency Social Affairs Office on Sunday, 25 January 2026, at
the Tagana Emergency Response Post and Public Kitchen of the Batang Regency
Social Affairs Office.
This rapid response action is

alleviating the burden on communities whose homes were inundated by flooding
caused by heavy rainfall that has affected Batang Regency over the past few days.
The assistance provided includes
urgent basic necessities such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, eggs, and
other essential items, which will be immediately distributed to villages
affected by floods and landslides.
The General Manager of
Stakeholder Relations of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro
through Government Relations & Permit Assistant Manager Wicaksono P. Aji
expressed his sympathy for the disaster that struck Batang residents.
“We, the entire Batang Power
Plant family, share in the hardships experienced by the community. The
distribution of this assistance reflects the company’s commitment and social
responsibility to be present for the community, especially during emergency situations
like this. We are closely coordinating with the Social Affairs Office to ensure
the aid is well targeted and that its benefits can be felt promptly by flood
and landslide survivors,” said Aryamir.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Batang
Regency Social Affairs Office, Wilopo, expressed appreciation for the swift
initiative taken by PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia in supporting the local
government’s disaster response efforts.
“On behalf of the Batang Regency
Government, we extend our gratitude to PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia for its

replenishing supplies at the public kitchen and ensuring that the needs of residents
in Klidang and Karangasem Villages affected by flooding, as well as Peranten

the government is expected to ease the community’s burden and support the
post-disaster recovery process,” Wilopo stated.
