Support the Independence of Education Programs, BPI Collaborates with BBPMP Central Java to Facilitate Workshops for School Principals and Committees from Assisted Schools in Batang
BATANG - PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (BPI) as a Development Partner of BBPMP Central Java held a School Committee workshop which was held on Tuesday (12/12/2023) at SDN Ponowareng 1 Batang Regency with the theme Workshop on School Synergy with the Community in Achieving Education Goals. The event was attended by 56 participants, including 26 elementary school principals, 1 junior high school principal and 1 madrasah principal, and 28 school committee chairmen from all BPI CSR program target schools.
This workshop aims to strengthen cooperation between schools and communities through the active role of the school committee. The Principal of SDN Ponowareng 1, M. Jamal Nasher, S. Pd, conveyed the importance of synergy between schools and communities to achieve national education goals.
The event was also attended by Ahmad Lukman and Febria Wulandari as BPI management representatives who explained about the CSR programs carried out by BPI, including economic, health, educational, socio-cultural, environmental, and infrastructure programs.
On the occasion, Dra. Nani Rosdijati, M.M. from BBPMP Central Java, gave material on the importance of the role of school committees in supporting the advancement of education in schools.
This material covers topics such as Education Report Card, PBD (Data-Based Planning), PMM (Platform Merdeka Mengajar), and the role of school committees according to Permendikbud RI No. 75 of 2016.
Meanwhile, in his speech, Secretary of the Education and Culture Office of Batang Regency, Budiyono, expressed his appreciation to BPI for its contribution to the world of education. He also proposed an Inclusion School program to accept children with special needs.
This workshop is expected to increase synergy between schools and communities and strengthen school committees in supporting the advancement of education in Batang.
