Batang Power Plant Achieves Triple Recognition at CSR & PDB Awards 2025

Bhimasena Power, Batang Power Plant - PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia has once again achieved outstanding success through its corporate social responsibility program, winning three prestigious awards at the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Village Development (CSR & PDB) Awards 2025. The awards ceremony was held by the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration, in collaboration with the Indonesian Social Sustainability Forum, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Hotel Bidakara Jakarta.
The assessment carried out to 104 companies participating in this competitive event included the stages of document assessment, program presentation and verification to the CSR program area. Based on the results of the assessment, three of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia's CSR programs received awards, namely the Sustainable Watershed (DAS Lestari) and Biodiversity Program which won the Silver category, the Cooperative Development Program which also won the Silver category, and the Replacement Land Program for farmers around the Batang Power Plant which won the Bronze category.
The Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions, Yandri Susanto, appreciated the contributions of state-owned and private corporations that have participated in village development in Indonesia.
"Villages today play a crucial role in national development, as emphasized in the sixth point of the President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita, which focuses on building from villages and from the bottom up to achieve economic equality and poverty eradication," said Yandri Susanto.
President Director of PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia Takahide Hori highly appreciates the performance of the company and all stakeholders for their cooperation and collaboration in various programs so that the company can continue to increase its contribution to the community in Batang Regency.
"Through the Sustainable Watershed (DAS Lestari) and Biodiversity Program, we have made efforts to restore and maintain ecosystems upstream and coastal to overcome the potential for landslides and coastal abrasion by planting thousands of species of multifunctional trees, tens of thousands of mangroves, and thousands of protective trees, installing artificial fish houses and artificial coral reefs. As a result, not only increasing the community's fishery yields, but also increasing the absorption of greenhouse gas emissions in the Batang Power Plant area. In addition, the cooperative development program, and the replacement land program that we have implemented have also had a positive impact on the beneficiaries. We hope that all these efforts can realize the independence of the community in Batang Regency," said Takahide Hori.
