Ujungnegoro Fun Run 2025: Moving Together, Nurturing Hope

Bhimasena Power, Batang Power Plant — Hundreds of participants enlivened the Ujungnegoro Fun Run 2025: “Ujung-Ujungnya Pelarian” at Ujungnegoro Beach, Batang Regency on Sunday, 26 October 2025. The event was initiated by the creative community Masterpiece and supported by PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia and the Batang Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office (Disparpora), serving as a platform to promote local tourism while encouraging a healthy lifestyle among the public.

The Fun Run offered a casual, creative, and inclusive sports experience, engaging people of all ages, local MSMEs, and coastal communities. In addition to enjoying a scenic beach run, participants also joined zumba sessions, entertainment programs, door prizes, live music performances, and photo spots, creating a warm, festive, and community-driven atmosphere.

Event Chairman Andy Vidi Setiawan shared that Masterpiece was born from the collaborative spirit of Batang’s youth.

“We want to build a creative space that not only entertains, but also inspires and empowers. This Fun Run is a ‘run’ from routine, yet also a journey toward togetherness and new hope for the community,” he said.

Ujungnegoro Village Head Absah Erviana appreciated the enthusiasm and positive impact the event brought to the village.

“This is not only about sports, but about supporting one another, gathering as a community, and building our village through togetherness,” she said.

Head of the Batang Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office Ulul Azmi also expressed appreciation for activities that elevate local sports and tourism.

“We greatly appreciate the support from PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia and various other companies that have helped the community, especially youth organizations in Batang Regency,” said Ulul Azmi.

Meanwhile, Aryamir H. Sulasmoro, GM of Stakeholder Relations at PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia, emphasized that the company’s involvement reflects its commitment to the surrounding community and environment.

“Our support for this event reflects our concern for promoting healthy living, strengthening social ties, and protecting the environment together with the community,” he said.

Through this event, organizers hope the Ujungnegoro Fun Run will grow into an annual agenda that strengthens community networks, nurtures the coastal environment, and highlights Ujungnegoro Beach as a cherished tourism destination in Batang Regency. (**)
