Bhima (Sansekerta: Bima) or Bimasena (Sansekerta: Bimasena) is a protagonist soldier in Mahabharata epic.
He comes from Pandawa family that is sacred and heroic, a brave and strong with a kind hearted, as told in Prasthanikaparwa. Bhimasena known with his loyalty and integrity and his name is refers to a war general in the past.
